Caregiving Across the Ages

Join us as we convene in Kansas City, November 6th through November 7th, at the Caregiving Across the Ages Conference and Tradeshow.  The conference and tradeshow is the premier opportunity to learn and network with other professionals serving caregivers across a five state area. 

This year’s conference will bring together more than two hundred professionals. Not only will you network with peers and exchange ideas on how to meet the challenges of serving our nation’s older population and disabled adults and children, you will learn about innovations in products, programs and services at the tradeshow.

The 2008 conference is shaping up to be an exciting event – we look forward to seeing you there!

Featured Speakers

Evan Sanchez, B.A. Psychology from The University of North Texas is the CEO and President of eFlowCoach.  Evan specializes in providing performance enhancement techniques to individual and organizational Leadership, Health & Productivity, and High Performance Culture initiatives.  Experience as a Fortune 500 Senior Executive, Consultative Sales and Marketing Management Consultant, Personal Trainer & Coach has uniquely positioned Evan as an Executive Coach who truly understands the barriers to a fulfilling work-life balance.  Education, work experience, and lifetime athletic experiences as a Semi-Professional and Olympic Development soccer player have distinguished him as a true expert in the fields of Flow (The Psychology of Optimal Performance), “The Zone”, Positive Psychology, and work-life balance strategies. 

 

Lynne Seagle - Executive Director of Hope House Foundation, a private not-for-profit- serving people with disabilities in Hampton Roads, Virginia. She is one of the country’s leading consultants in Organizational Development and Supported Living Services.  She consults widely not only throughout the United States, but also within the United Kingdom and Asia.

 

Ms. Seagle holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration and Education Leadership.  She was awarded the Joseph P. Kennedy Foundation’s International Award of Excellence in Leadership and was honored as Virginia Administrator of the Year.  She has been a keynote presenter at the President’s Commission on Mental Retardation, the National Association of Design Administrators and International and National Disability Conferences.

 

Elaine K. Sanchez - Nationally recognized speaker and author who never intended to become an expert in the area of caring for aging, chronically ill, and disabled family members but like many caregivers ended up in that position as a result of health issues with both her parents and family members.

 

Elaine helps people get prepared to take over the care of family members.   She also helps active caregivers cope with the challenges and recognize the rewards that come with handling the personal, physical, financial, and legal affairs of loved ones who can no longer care for themselves. Elaine combines practical strategies with artful storytelling that leaves audiences encouraged and inspired.

Conference Registration Fees

The registration fee includes all materials, general sessions, break-out sessions, refreshment breaks, food/beverage functions.  All fees must accompany registrations. 

□           $ 200 before October 1

□           $ 250 after October 1

 

There will be a $20.00 fee assessed to walk-in registrants.  No refunds will be given for cancellations; however, an alternate person may attend for the registrant. 

Guest Meals and Certificates of Attendance are not included in the registration fee and must be purchased separately.

MEALS for non registered attendee…..$20 each meal

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
Certificate of Attendance (processing fee) available to all attendees..... $10
